Issues We Treat

Healing at the Root—Not Just Managing Symptoms

Our Mission

Our approach goes beyond traditional talk therapy, combining Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness-based exposure and response prevention (ERP), and compassion-focused therapy to address the core causes of anxiety, trauma, and mood-related issues.

Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, we help you understand and transform the underlying emotional and neurological patterns that keep you stuck.

By integrating evidence-based methods with deep, parts-based healing, clients learn to relate differently to their inner experience—creating genuine, sustainable change.

A Deeply Integrative Model

Every client is unique, and so is every treatment plan. By weaving together Internal Family Systems, exposure-based therapy, ACT, and mindfulness, we address both the emotional and physiological roots of distress.

This comprehensive model helps restore balance across the mind, body, and nervous system—allowing healing to unfold naturally.

Whether you’re seeking relief from anxiety, trauma, or depression, or exploring new paths through psychedelic-assisted therapy, you’ll find an approach designed to meet you where you are—with compassion, expertise, and care.

Anxiety, Panic & OCD

Finding Calm Through Connection and Courage

Anxiety often arises when protective parts of us work overtime to keep us safe—but end up trapping us in cycles of fear and avoidance. Whether you’re struggling with chronic worry, panic attacks, obsessive-compulsive thoughts, or social anxiety, healing begins with understanding the parts of your mind that are trying to help, but need new ways to do so.

Using IFS-informed exposure and response prevention (ERP), we help you face fears gently and effectively—learning to stay present and grounded while anxious parts soften and build trust.

This combination of mindfulness, acceptance, and compassionate exposure helps retrain the nervous system and reduce the hold of anxiety-driven patterns.

We help clients with:

  • Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)

  • Panic Disorder & Panic Attacks

  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

  • Social Anxiety & Phobias

  • Health Anxiety / Intrusive Thoughts

Our goal is not to suppress anxiety, but to understand and integrate it—so you can live with greater freedom, confidence, and peace.

Trauma & PTSD

Healing What’s Been Held Inside

Trauma isn’t only about what happened—it’s about how our system had to adapt to survive. Many people carry inner parts that hold pain, fear, or shame long after the danger has passed. These parts can create patterns of reactivity, emotional numbing, or disconnection that feel impossible to change through talk alone.

Our trauma therapy combines the deep relational attunement of IFS with the gentle, structured support of mindfulness-based exposure and somatic awareness.

By helping you safely connect with and unburden the parts of yourself that carry trauma, your inner system can begin to reorganize—restoring a sense of safety, vitality, and self-trust.

We treat:

  • Complex PTSD (C-PTSD) & developmental trauma

  • Childhood abuse & attachment trauma

  • Emotional neglect & relational wounds

  • Dissociation & fragmentation

  • Treatment-resistant trauma symptoms

For clients seeking deeper work, legal ketamine or psilocybin-assisted therapy may also support trauma resolution by enhancing emotional openness and access to Self—facilitating profound release and integration under skilled guidance.

Depression, Mood & Treatment-Resistant Conditions

Reclaiming Connection, Energy, and Meaning

Depression can feel like being cut off from your own aliveness—when protective parts withdraw to protect against disappointment, failure, or pain.

Our approach to mood disorders focuses on understanding the inner logic of these parts with compassion, while using structured, evidence-based methods to help re-engage with life.

We integrate IFS, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based behavioral activation to support emotional healing and values-based living.

For clients with treatment-resistant depression or chronic mood dysregulation, we may incorporate psilocybin-assisted therapy when appropriate—helping to restore access to Self-energy and renewed purpose.

We help with:

  • Major Depressive Disorder & Persistent Depressive Disorder

  • Bipolar Spectrum & Mood Instability

  • Grief & Loss

  • Emotional Numbness or Burnout

  • Treatment-Resistant Depression

Our work goes beyond managing symptoms—it’s about helping you reconnect with the parts of yourself that once carried hope, vitality, and joy.
