I came to this work through experience, not theory. My background as a trial attorney taught me a lot about people—especially how often our deepest struggles show up in indirect ways. Over time, I realized that the stories I was most drawn to weren’t the legal ones, but the human ones—the patterns of pain, resilience, and meaning that shape who we become. That shift led me from the courtroom to the therapy room, and ultimately to the work I do now.
My approach is both clinical and deeply human. I draw primarily from Internal Family Systems (IFS)—a powerful model for healing trauma, emotional dysregulation, and inner conflict—combined with Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based Exposure & Response Prevention, and, when appropriate, psilocybin-assisted therapy. Together, these approaches create a practical and transformative path for healing even the most complex struggles.
Many of the people I work with have been through therapy before, often more than once. They’re thoughtful, self-aware, and still stuck—tired of managing anxiety, depression, or trauma without feeling real change. My work focuses on helping clients reach the parts of themselves that talking alone doesn’t touch—reconnecting with what’s been buried, ignored, or silenced.
I specialize in helping adults with complex trauma, treatment-resistant depression, anxiety and panic disorders, and deep patterns of self-criticism or emotional avoidance. My role isn’t to fix you—it’s to help you find and trust the parts of you that already know how to heal.
For some, that means traditional therapy and internal work. For others, it may include psychedelic-assisted therapy—a structured, legal, and clinically grounded process that can catalyze profound healing when done safely and intentionally. Whether you’re exploring psychedelics, seeking trauma or anxiety resolution, or simply trying to feel more alive in your life, I meet you exactly where you are.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me hiking Colorado trails with my dogs, making music, or digging into the intersections of consciousness, psychology, and storytelling. I believe that healing isn’t just about relief—it’s about returning to who we actually are beneath all the defenses we built to survive.
If you’ve reached a point where old strategies aren’t working anymore, therapy can be the place to finally do something different. I offer a free consultation to see whether our work together might be that turning point.
