Psychedelic Therapy & Natural Medicine Integration in Denver

Deep Healing Through Psychedelic Integration & Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy

At Denver Emotional Health, psychedelic therapy is not a trend—it’s a calling. I’ve witnessed profound healing emerge when people work with natural medicines like psilocybin mushrooms, combined with compassionate, evidence-based therapy.

Some clients come in with treatment-resistant depression, others with crippling anxiety, psychosomatic symptoms like unexplained headaches, or gut issues that haven’t responded to traditional care. Others arrive feeling disconnected, navigating a spiritual crisis, struggling with anger, alcohol or substance use, or simply seeking meaning and emotional depth.

Whatever the starting point, the healing often runs deep.

How Psychedelic Therapy Works at Denver Emotional Health

In alignment with Colorado’s Natural Medicine Health Act (Proposition 122), qualified adults may legally explore therapeutic experiences with psilocybin and other plant medicines. Our role is to support this journey with preparation, therapeutic presence, and post-journey integration—using methods rooted in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based self-compassion.

While we do not supply or recommend substances, we work with individuals who choose to engage with natural medicines responsibly and legally. You remain in full control of your choices; our role is to help make those experiences safe, supported, and integrated into real, lasting change.

What We Address Through Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy

  • Depression and anxiety that haven’t responded to conventional treatment
  • Complex or developmental trauma (C-PTSD)
  • Psychosomatic issues—headaches, gut distress, body-based tension
  • Substance use and patterns of avoidance
  • Relationship challenges, anger, and emotional reactivity
  • Spiritual emergence or identity transformation

The Power of Integration

Psychedelics may open a door—but it’s the integration that helps you walk through it. Many clients experience profound insight during a session, but without support, those insights can fade or become confusing. That’s why integration is at the core of our work.

We help you make sense of what came up. We help you find language for it, move it through the body, and carry it back into the parts of your life that matter most—your relationships, your purpose, your values, your nervous system.

Our Therapeutic Framework

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS): Helps you understand the parts of yourself that show up during psychedelic experiences—whether protective, wounded, critical, or curious—and supports real, compassionate transformation.
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): Builds psychological flexibility, helping you stay present with discomfort and align your actions with your values.
  • Mindfulness & Compassion-based Exposure Therapy: Encourages gentle awareness and presence, which enhances both your inner work and your healing process.

Services We Offer

  • Preparation: Intention-setting, safety planning, mindset exploration
  • Therapeutic Presence: In-person or remote support during your journey (when appropriate)
  • Integration Therapy: Ongoing post-journey work to process, embody, and live out what you’ve discovered

Important Disclaimer
